According to reports by Turkish media, one soldier had a mental breakdown and killed 3 soldiers before committing suicide.
The incident happened in the gendarmerie outpost in Manisa’s Kula district. One soldier opened fire on the dormitory with his automatic rifle and killed 3 sleeping soldiers, while wounding 3 others. The attacker is reported to have committed suicide.
Four soldiers in total are dead and three are wounded. An investigation is underway.
