Ukraine’s intelligence catch former Armed Forces officer, who took militants’ side
It is noted that the fact of desertion was not a surprise, as Bidusenko "initially seemed to be a cowardly person"
The scouts of the 93rd Individual Mechanized Brigade ‘Kholodny Yar’ and the tactical group ‘Mospino’ have caught a former officer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksiy Bidusenko, who on June 16, 2017, went over to the militants’ side. This was reported by the press service of the 93rd Brigade on Facebook.
"Oleksiy Bidusenko was transferred to the law enforcement bodies. After completing the investigation, he will appear before the Ukrainian court," the statement said.
During his work in Ukraine, he did not have access to secret documents.
"The level of competence of Bidusenko was disappointing to the leadership of the occupation forces. At first they tried to use it, but then threw him away as a rag to the garbage dump. However, you always have to answer for treason," said Col. Vladyslav Klochkov, commander of the ‘Kholodny Yar’ Brigade.
As it was reported earlier, the militants attacked the Joint Forces Operation positions three times from 7:00 till 18:00 Wednesday. No casualties were reported. The enemy fired at the Ukrainian positions from 82-mm mortar launchers in Luhansk sector near Novotoshkivske.
