«پرو / Perú» شوری است در آمریکای جنوبی. پایتخت آن لیما است. پرو به عنوان مهد امپراتوری اینکا شناخته می‌شود و وطن شمار زیادی از بومیان قاره آمریکا است. از این رو، پرو کشوری است با پشتوانه غنی تاریخی و فرهنگی. لیما بزرگترین شهر پرو و پایتخت آن در منطقه پست‌بوم بیابانی قرار دارد. این شهر را اسپانیایی‌ها در حدود 400 سال پیش بنیاد گذاردند. همچون تاریخ غنی ملی پرو، فرهنگ عمومی پروی معاصر حاصل همجوشی فرهنگ‌ها است، که اصولاً از میراث فرهنگی گروه‌های بومی و استعمارگران اسپانیایی و آفریقایی تشکیل شده است. این ترکیب فرهنگی در اثر کمک‌های دیگر گروه‌های مهاجر، به ویژه آسیایی‌ها و اروپایی‌های -غیر ایبریایی- غنی تر شده است. حال و هوای پرو در دهه 1970 میلادی را در تابناک تماشا می‌کنید.
