Pro-Brexit campaigners burn EU flag during ‘yellow vest’ protest
Pro-Brexit ‘yellow vest’ protestors have burned a European Union flag on Westminster Bridge.
The group were filmed singing ‘stick your flag with stars on up your a***’ while the flag was on flames.
It was one of a number of incidents that occurred during today’s protests that were inspired by similar ‘yellow vest’ demonstrations in France.
The protests in France have been violent and have led to the death of several people.
A 13-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer along with three others during the far-right march in London today.
A smoke bomb was set off close to Whitehall as approximately 100 people marched through Westminster.
Other pro-Brexit protests also took place in Manchester where demonstrators were kept outside a Greggs bakery at one point.
