Trump says he will run for re-election in 2020, discusses Brexit with The Queen
US President Donald Trump said he intends to run for re-election in 2020 because "everybody wants me to" and there are no Democratic candidates who could defeat him, the Mail on Sunday newspaper reported.
British journalist Piers Morgan asked Trump during an interview on Friday (Saturday, NZT) whether he would run for re-election. Trump said: "Well I fully intend to. It seems like everybody wants me to," the Mail on Sunday reported.
Trump said he did not see any Democrat who could beat him: "I don't see anybody. I know them all and I don't see anybody."

He has previously indicated his intention to run again, and by June 2017 had raised an estimated US$10 million for his re-election bid.
In February 2018, Trump named former digital adviser Brad Parscale as campaign manager of his 2020 re-election bid.
The President was visiting Britain, before heading to Finland for a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
During his visit he met with Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle for morning tea. He broke protocol by disclosing the discussion he and the monarch had.
He was asked whether they discussed Brexit, and he said they did.
"She said it's a very - and she's right - it's a very complex problem, I think nobody had any idea how complex that was going to be... Everyone thought it was going to be 'Oh it's simple, we join or don't join, or let's see what happens.'"
