Schools in Iran still closed due to heavy snowfall, cold
Following heavy snowfall across Iran, hundreds of schools in several provinces including Tehran, Alborz, Zanjan, Western Azerbaijan, Ardabil have remained closed for the second consecutive day.

Following heavy snowfall across Iran, hundreds of schools in several provinces including Tehran, Alborz, Zanjan, Western Azerbaijan, Ardabil have remained closed for the second consecutive day.
In the meantime, officials have imposed traffic restrictions in several roads across the country due to the adverse weather conditions, state-run IRINN TV reported.
This is while the suspended flights in Tehran’s Imam Khomeini airport will be resumed at 11:00 local time.
The cold weather is expected to last until Wednesday, the report added.
