The Kurdistan Region Referendum Committee on Saturday formed three
delegations to discuss independence referendum with Baghdad, neighboring
and other countries in a near future.
The President of the Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani met with the committee members of the Kurdish referendum and formed three delegations, according to the information obtained by Kurdistan24.
One of the delegations would meet with Gorran and Kurdistan Islamic Group (KIG), the Kurdish parties that so far are not included in the referendum committee.
The second delegation would discuss referendum with Baghdad, Iran, and Turkey officials.
While the third one would visit the UK and the US to discuss the independence referendum with their officials.
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has planned to hold the referendum on Sep. 25, 2017.
