Politicians in Lebanon have voted overwhelmingly to change the way they are elected.

The new electoral law will be based on proportional representation and 15 electoral districts, replacing the winner-takes-all system for the first time in the country’s history.

But women and young people fear they will be ignored under the new system.

Al Jazeera’s Imtiaz Tyab reports from Beirut.
