Two Koreas hold high-level talks on organizing 3rd summit
Senior North and South Korean officials discussed plans for a third summit between their leaders during a meeting Monday in the truce village of Panmunjom.

Senior North and South Korean officials discussed plans for a third summit between their leaders during a meeting Monday in the truce village of Panmunjom.
The talks came as momentum has stalled in negotiations over the North’s nuclear weapons program since the June 12 summit between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and President Donald Trump.
But the two Koreas have moved forward with a series of sports and infrastructure exchanges as well as military talks since the initial summit between Kim and South Korean President Moon Jae-in on April 27.
The leaders also held a surprise meeting in late May, but that was mainly focused on getting plans for the unprecedented U.S.-North Korean summit back on track.
