“Sattar Khan fought for an ideal he considered worthy of Iran: freedom, law and the nation’s dignity,” Pezeshkian wrote in a post on X on Tuesday on the occasion of Sattar Khan’s birth anniversary.
Iran takes pride in figures like Sattar Khan, men who gave meaning to their values not merely through words but through their steadfastness, he added.
Pezeshkian said the Iranians may endure hardship, but we will not surrender their land.
