Iran, Russia, Azerbaijan to boost economic, regional coop.
TABNAK, Oct. 10 - The presidents of Iran, Russia and the Republic of Azerbaijan called for stronger trilateral cooperation, expanded economic and trade ties, and closer regional coordination, particularly among Caspian Sea littoral states.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a trilateral meeting on the sidelines of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) summit and a Caspian Sea environmental summit in Turkmenistan on Friday.
The three presidents reviewed issues of mutual interest and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral and trilateral relations and expand cooperation in areas of shared interest.
They emphasized the potential to boost economic and commercial ties, improve regional engagement, and make better use of existing capacities.
The presidents also discussed cooperation among Caspian littoral states and regional issues, underscoring the need for closer coordination to advance common interests.
