The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps reaffirmed its commitment to the path of Hezbollah late Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, saying his legacy continues to strengthen the resistance front and Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
In a statement, the IRGC said Nasrallah’s martyrdom two years ago has not weakened the resistance but has instead turned his blood into a source of greater strength and vitality for the resistance front.
The IRGC described Nasrallah as a strategic architect of modern resistance and a strategist in both the battlefield and diplomacy, saying he helped transform resistance from a tactical approach into a broader intellectual and political framework. It said his influence extended from Lebanon and Palestine to Yemen, Iraq, Syria and beyond.
The statement said Nasrallah regarded resistance as a unified front in which a victory in any part represented a victory for the entire front. It credited his leadership with establishing a deterrence equation against the Israeli regime and challenging the regime’s image of invincibility.
The IRGC said the path of Nasrallah would continue under the leadership of Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem, praising the resistance and Hezbollah’s continued activities in southern Lebanon.
The statement also described the resistance front across the region as a symbol of dignity, independence and opposition to domination and occupation, particularly following the recent US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran.
The IRGC said it regards the resistance forces’ control and management of the strategic Strait of Hormuz during the current conflicts as an achievement rooted in faith and reliance on divine support. It also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the resistance front, defending the rights of the oppressed and continuing the struggle until the “full liberation of al-Quds.”
The IRGC concluded that, under the leadership of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei and with the unity of the Iranian people and Armed Forces, the US and Israeli efforts would not achieve their objectives, pledging that its forces would continue until final victory.
