Iran not after tension but to defend interests, integrity with full force

President Masoud Pezeshkian made the remarks on Monday during a ceremony marking the official launch of the second phase of Iran's National Family Medicine Program.

Referring to regional developments and the attempts by enemies to disrupt Iran's path of progress, Pezeshkian stressed that Iran remains committed to stability and does not seek the expansion of tensions in the region.

At the same time, he said Iran would use all its capabilities to safeguard national security, protect the country's interests, and defend its territorial integrity.

The president added that strengthening social capital, improving public health, and increasing national resilience are among the most important pillars of the country's power and authority.

Highlighting Iran's scientific and human capacities, he said the country is not inferior to advanced nations in terms of skilled manpower, scientific infrastructure, and professional capabilities.

He noted that these capacities could enable Iran to become a successful model in the field of healthcare, while also benefiting from successful international experiences.
