Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has held separate phone calls with his Omani and Saudi counterparts to discuss the latest bilateral and regional developments, stressing the need to strengthen cooperation and advance joint diplomatic efforts to establish stability in the region.

Araghchi spoke by phone with Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan on Monday night.

During the calls, the three foreign ministers discussed the latest bilateral and regional developments and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and pursuing joint diplomatic efforts to promote regional stability and address the insecurity imposed on the Strait of Hormuz as a result of US acts of aggression.

The phone calls were held as tensions escalated in West Asia due to renewed US acts of aggression against Iran. The Islamic Republic responded powerfully to US airstrikes in the past two weeks.
