The violating oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz exploded hours ago after striking a naval mine, following its departure from the route designated by Iran, Defa Press reported.
The Islamic Republic of Iran had repeatedly warned earlier that if ships deviate from the route announced by Iran, they will be responsible for the consequences.
