Iran, China, Russia, IAEA chief hold joint meeting
TABNAK, Jun. 05 – The permanent representatives of Iran, Russia, and China have held a joint meeting with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi ahead of the upcoming IAEA Board of Governors meeting.

In a post on its X account on Friday, Iran’s Permanent Mission to the International Organizations in Vienna stated that the permanent representatives and ambassadors of China, Iran, and Russia discussed the issues on the agenda for the upcoming Board of Governors meeting with Grossi.
The next IAEA Board of Governors meeting is scheduled to convene next Monday. According to a statement by the IAEA Secretariat, the agenda includes the implementation of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) Safeguards Agreement and relevant UN Security Council resolutions regarding Iran.
The IAEA Director General—who has not yet condemned illegal attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities—recently requested access to Iran’s damaged nuclear facilities in his latest report to the Board of Governors on Thursday.
