The Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian in a tephone converstion with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on Monday warned of ceasefire violation and described the Zionist regime’s repeated ceasefire violations in Lebanon and continued US support for Israeli actions as deeply concerning, calling on the international community to take effective responsibility for halting the trend.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf also said the US naval blockade against Iran and the escalation of Israeli war crimes in Lebanon are clear evidence of violations of the ceasefire, warning that “every choice has a price.”
In a message posted on his X account on June 1, Qalibaf said, “The naval blockade and escalation of war crimes in Lebanon by the genocidal Zionist regime are clear evidence of US noncompliance with the ceasefire.”
“Every choice has a price, and the bill comes due. It will all fall into place,” he warned.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi also said the Israeli attacks on Lebanon are tantamount to a violation of the ceasefire between Iran and the US, warning that Washington and Tel Aviv will bear responsibility for the consequences of any breach.
In a post on his X account on Monday, Araqchi stressed that the ceasefire reached between Iran and the US applies to all fronts, including Lebanon.
“For immediate attention: The ceasefire between Iran and the US is unequivocally a ceasefire on all fronts, including in Lebanon,” Araqchi said.
“Its violation on one front is a violation of the ceasefire on all fronts,” the Iranian foreign minister added.
“The US and Israel are responsible for the consequences of any violation,” he stated.
Spokesman for the Iranian Armed Forces Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi also warned that the continuation of Israeli crimes in Lebanon would be “intolerable” for Iran’s military forces.
