
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian appreciated Pakistan’s “effective efforts” to help reach an agreement between Iran and the United States.
In a message posted on his X account on Friday following separate telephone conversations with the prime ministers of Pakistan and Malaysia on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, President Pezeshkian reiterated Iran’s commitment to diplomacy and thanked Islamabad for its role in facilitating an agreement.
“In my talks with the prime ministers of Malaysia and Pakistan to congratulate them on the blessed Eid al-Adha, while emphasizing Iran’s commitment to diplomacy, I thanked Malaysia for its humanitarian positions and Pakistan for its initiative and effective efforts to reach an agreement,” the Iranian president wrote.
Pezeshkian added that Iran’s policy is to expand cooperation with Muslim and neighboring countries in all fields.
