
In a post on his X account, Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli wrote, “The Islamic Republic of Iran has declared its readiness to support the Chinese president’s four-point proposal, which aims to establish sustainable security and joint development in the Persian Gulf region. This matter was also emphasized during the recent meeting between the two countries' foreign ministers in Beijing.”
Last week, Rahmani Fazli also stated in a press conference in Beijing that the Chinese President's four-point plan “stresses the necessity of creating cooperation, convergence, and collective action to strengthen security and development in the Persian Gulf and Middle East.”
According to Xinhua, President Xi Jinping, in his April 14 meeting with Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of United Arab Emirates, introduced a four-point proposal to promote peace and stability in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region, emphasizing “peaceful coexistence, sovereignty respect, international law, and the balance of development and security.”
