Reza Alizadeh, Head of the Industries and Mines Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament), in an exclusive interview with Erasin, announced the return of stability to the steel products market. Referring to the resolution of concerns regarding raw material supply, he reassured downstream industries that with the continuation of regular product supply and the rapid progress of reconstruction of production lines, there is no concern for domestic manufacturers.

Alizadeh emphasized: “Due to Mobarakeh Steel’s proper performance in supplying products to the market, we are no longer witnessing serious turbulence or volatility in the market. The tensions that temporarily emerged during the early days of the war have now subsided, and market conditions are moving toward stability.”

According to the analytical news platform Erasin, Reza Alizadeh, Head of the Parliament’s Industries and Mines Commission and representative of Varzaqan, in an exclusive interview with an Erasin correspondent, referred to Mobarakeh Steel’s key role in supplying downstream industries and expressed satisfaction with the management of the steel products market in recent months. He stated that the company’s performance in supplying products has helped reduce tensions and restore calm to the market.

In evaluating the joint meeting between members of the commission and executives of Mobarakeh Steel Group, he referred to discussions regarding the company’s performance during the year 1404 (2025–2026), management of wartime conditions, and post-war reconstruction plans.
Stability in the steel market through continued product supply

Referring to the status of the steel products market, Alizadeh stated: “Due to Mobarakeh Steel’s appropriate performance in supplying products to the market, we are currently not witnessing serious tensions or fluctuations in the market. The temporary tensions that emerged during the early days of the war have been resolved, and market conditions are moving toward stability.”
He emphasized: “At present, there are even signs of price reductions, and the market is approaching equilibrium. This is the result of Mobarakeh Steel’s continuous supply to meet the needs of domestic manufacturers.”

Referring to the widespread dependence of domestic industries on Mobarakeh Steel’s products, the Head of the Industries and Mines Commission said: “Many factories and manufacturing units across the country use steel sheets produced by Mobarakeh Steel. Based on the report presented by the company’s management, manufacturers should have no concerns regarding the supply of raw materials.”

He added: “In the near future, with the full restart of production lines and increased supply, conditions for providing raw materials to downstream industries will improve further, and the market will continue operating with greater stability.”

Referring to the reports presented by Mobarakeh Steel executives during the meeting, Alizadeh stated: “According to the explanations provided, the short-term and temporary issues created during the wartime period have largely been resolved, and the reconstruction process is being pursued according to a clear and organized plan.”

He expressed hope that with the continuation of this trend, the business environment in the steel sector and related industries will become more stable and that raw material supply for manufacturers will continue uninterrupted.

At the conclusion of his remarks, the Head of the Parliament’s Industries and Mines Commission expressed appreciation for the efforts of the managers, employees, and workers of Mobarakeh Steel Group, stating: “We appreciate the efforts of the management team and workers of this major industrial complex and hope that they will achieve their goals in rebuilding the damages and increasing production at an even faster pace.”

He emphasized: “The message that can be conveyed today to the public and industrial activists of the country is that the steel sheet and steel products market, due to Mobarakeh Steel’s successful performance in the post-war period, is not facing serious tensions or volatility, and the process of supplying raw materials to domestic industries continues steadily.”
