IRGC sets new red line in Persian Gulf for enemy

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy Command has once again warned against any aggression toward the Iranian oil tankers and commercial vessels.

The IRGC Navy Command emphasized in a message that any aggression toward Iranian oil tankers and commercial vessels will result in a heavy assault against one of the American centers in the region and enemy ships.

In a related development, the IRGC Navy announced early on Friday that its elite forces opened fire on US military destroyers in response to a ceasefire violation and an aggressive act by the US military against an Iranian oil tanker near the country’s southern port of Jask.

It said that the retaliatory attacks followed the US military destroyers’ approach toward the Strait of Hormuz, adding that during a highly coordinated operation, the IRGC fired upon the enemy destroyers using a variety of anti-ship ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as explosive warhead drones.
