Posting to social media on Sunday, Ghalibaf attached an image of the destroyed US aircraft and sarcastically said that if Washington were to suffer three more similar defeats, it would be “utterly ruined.”
“If the United States gets three more victories like this, it will be utterly ruined,” the Iranian Parliament speaker said.
His comment came after Iranian military forces destroyed multiple US aircraft, including Black Hawks and a C-130, in a coordinated operation south of Isfahan, which officials said foiled an attempt to extract a downed fighter pilot.
