Iran tests sea-based long-range air defense missile
TABNAK, Feb. 21 - The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy successfully test-fired a naval variant of its Sayyad-3 air defense missile during a large-scale exercise in the Strait of Hormuz.

A naval variant of Iran’s long-range air defense missile, Sayyad-3G, was successfully launched and operationalized for the first time during a military exercise conducted by the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
According to Mehr, the missile was fired from the warship “Shahid (martyr) Sayyad Shirazi” during the “Smart Control of the Strait of Hormuz” naval drill.
