Iran FM says Muscat talks with US 'good start'
TABNAK, Feb. 06 - Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has described the indirect talks between Iran and the United Stated in Muscat as a “good start”, noting that both sides intend to continue the talks.

“I think there was a good atmosphere and in one sentence I can say that it was a good start,” Araghchi told reporters after the end of the talks in the Omani capital on Friday.
He said that both sides agreed that the talks need to be continued but the time and manner of the next round of talks are yet to be decided.
“Our concerns were conveyed, and our interests, the rights that the Iranian people have, and all the things that needed to be said were conveyed in a very good atmosphere,” he said, adding that “the views of the other side were also heard”.
He expressed hope to reach an agreed framework for the talks in the next meetings.
