Civil Aviation Organization rejects rumors of Iran airspace clearance
TABNAK, Jan. 24 -The spokesperson for Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization has dismissed rumors circulating on social media about the country’s airspace being cleared or closed, stressing that all flights are operating as usual.

Majid Akhavan said in a post on his X account that no restrictions have been imposed on domestic, international, or transit flights.
He emphasized that Iran’s airspace remains fully open and that flight operations are continuing under normal conditions.
Akhavan advised passengers to check weather conditions before traveling and to contact the aviation information hotline at 199 for the latest updates.
He also noted that any potential changes to flight schedules due to weather conditions would be officially announced only through the Civil Aviation Organization’s public relations channels.
