Iran's Larijani, Qatari PM, Iraqi counterpart discuss regional developments

In his phone conversation with Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Larijani discussed bilateral ties and recent regional developments.

He stressed that Iran-Qatar cooperation paves the way for stability and sustainable security in the region.

Meanwhile, Al Thani referred to long-standing relations between Iran and Qatar and said Qatar is after establishing brotherly relations with Iran.

We have always stood by each other during difficult times, he added.

Any attempt to disturb stability in Iran will bring about serious consequences against regional stability, he noted.

Larijani also reviewed bilateral relations and implementation of security agreement with Iraq with his Iraqi counterpart Qasim al-Araji, Irna reported.

Al-Araji, for his part, lauded Iranian nation’s unity against enemies, calling for the commonalities between Tehran and Baghdad.
