Araghchi, while strongly condemning the US military aggression against Venezuela and the kidnapping of the legitimate Venezuelan president and his wife, considered this action a clear example of state terrorism and a clear attack on the sovereignty and national will of the Venezuelan people, and emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran’s support for the people and elected government of Venezuela, IRNA reported.
The Venezuelan foreign minister, appreciating the principled positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in declaring solidarity with Venezuela, emphasized that the people and government of Venezuela are determined to defend national sovereignty and the right to self-determination against the bullying and illegal policies of the United States.
