Iran condemns Zahedan terrorist attack and criticizes silence of some states

TABNAK, Jul. 27 - Foreign Ministry spokesperson and Vice President have condemned a terrorist act in Zahedan, southeastern Iran, on Saturday.

While expressing condolences to the bereaved families and wishing a speedy recovery to those injured in this terrorist crime, Baqaei emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran's determination to identify the perpetrators and those who ordered this crime and to try and punish them.

First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref has also condemned the terrorist attack in Zahedan in southeast Iran, criticizing the states who claim to be human rights advocates for remaining silent in face of such attacks in Iran.

Armed terrorists stormed a courthouse in Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, on Saturday, killing six people, including a woman and a one-year-old child, and injuring 23 others.

Iranian security forces killed three assailants during the ensuing clashes. The so-called Jaish al-Adl terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack, according to Press TV.
