
Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei denied claims by the former U.S. Secretary of State that Iran had agreed to limit uranium enrichment below one percent, describing such statements as part of internal U.S. political disputes rather than factual assertions.
In response to Europe’s proposal to delay the snapback mechanism, Baghaei emphasized that Iran’s reduced commitments under the JCPOA are legal and based on explicit provisions, while calling Europe’s request for reactivating the mechanism meaningless, unjustifiable, unethical, and illegal.
Baghaei responded to remarks by Azerbaijan’s president about the Zangazur corridor, emphasized Iran’s clear position on supporting regional transit corridors, and rejected any attempt to undermine sovereignty, territorial integrity, and changing international borders.
Baghaei said: The Zionist regime uses food and water as weapons to kill Palestinians in Gaza.
"Gaza has been under a complete siege for more than 140 days, and no food, medicine, or water supplies have entered.
