In mid-June, during a 12-day imposed war against Iran, Israeli warplanes targeted locations in Lorestan that were neither military nor secret.
In one of these attacks, Kourosh Beiranvand, a local aid worker who had volunteered to participate in rescue efforts from the very beginning of the war, was severely wounded and hospitalized with burns.
Despite 28 days of medical treatment, Beiranvand tragically passed away on July 18. He was not alone who were martyred; two other aid workers, Mahmoud Zeinivand and Mohammad Dalvand, were also martyred in the same strikes.
Beiranvand's martyrdom is one of many examples that illustrate how Israeli attacks have extended beyond military targets, impacting the lives of aid workers, journalists, and civilians, reported Iran Press.
