Pirhossein Kolivand, head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), announced Monday that five Iranian rescue workers were killed in the line of duty during the 12 days of the Israeli regime's war against Iran.

The statement reveals new aspects of war crimes of the Israeli regime against Iran. It underscores that the Israeli regime not only targets civilians but also disrupts humanitarian work.

Pirhossein Kolivand: “Five members of the Iranian Red Crescent have been martyred during relief missions in the face of Israeli aggression.”

“These actions are in direct breach of the Geneva Conventions. No one has the right to attack medical or relief personnel, or civilians.”

According to Iran Press, “Even the entrance to Evin Prison was attacked, along with its administrative offices and medical facility.”

Red Crescent facilities and equipment, including helicopters and ambulances, were hit during the war.

Iran has submitted detailed documentation to international organizations, detailing Israel's war crimes.
