The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (I.R.G.C.) has issued a stern warning to the United States after American warplanes struck Iran’s nuclear facilities, saying the U.S. has effectively put itself on “the frontline of aggression” against the Islamic Republic.
In a statement on Sunday, the I.R.G.C. reminded the U.S. of its past follies in the region, saying the American regime, instead of learning from its repeated failures, has practically put itself on “the front line of aggression” by launching attacks on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
The elite force said that the U.S., in full coordination with the Israeli regime, committed a blatant violation of international norms, including the United Nations Charter, the Non-Proliferation Treaty (N.P.T.), and the fundamental principles of respect for national sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries.
“The aggressors… neither have the power of initiative nor the ability to escape heavy retaliations,” the statement warned, saying that “the repetition of past failed follies demonstrates strategic incompetence of the U.S. and its disregard for the realities on the ground.”
The I.R.G.C. said that the Armed Forces had identified the bases where the warplanes launched the attacks and have placed them under close surveillance.
Iran reserves the right to respond within the framework of legitimate self-defense, including with options beyond the enemy’s “misguided calculations, the I.R.G.C. warned, adding that the aggressors should brace for harsh responses.
It stressed that the widespread presence of U.S. military bases in the region was not a source of strength but a source of vulnerability. “Their number, size, and dispersion only increase the risks they face,” the statement read.
Reaffirming Iran’s commitment to go ahead with its peaceful nuclear program, the I.R.G.C. reminded that the U.S. strikes would not stop the scientific and technological advancement of the country, rather strengthen the resolve of its youth for progress and development.
The I.R.G.C. further said that the Islamic Republic will never be intimidated by U.S. President Donald Trump and the criminal gangs ruling the White House and Tel Aviv.
According to IRNA, the statement pledged to continue retaliatory measures precisely, purposefully, and ferociously under Operation True Promise III, noting that the Israeli regime has faced 20 waves of attacks on its vital infrastructure and strategic assets.
In the end, the I.R.G.C. reiterated its full readiness to defend the country’s honor, dignity and security under the guidance of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and with the support of the Iranian nation. “By the grace of God, we will witness historic victories for Iran and Iranians and the entire Islamic Ummah,” it added.
