TABNAK, Sep, 23: Senior Advisor to the Iranian Foreign Minister for Special Political Affairs, Ali Asghar Khaji in a meeting with Zhai Jun, Beijing's special envoy to West Asia, said brutal attacks of Zionist regime against the oppressed people in the Gaza Strip and killing of dozens of civilians are resulted from all-out support by the US and certain Western countries.
He also called for the international community to stop continuation of massacre of Palestinians, saying, “Zionist regime has expanded its military strikes and aggressions to Lebanon and Syria due to silence of the international community.”
He also called for China to participate in rebuilding Syria and advancing philanthropic goals in the country.
During the meeting, Zhai Jun, said Beijing is ready to play a role in settling humanitarian and political crisis in Syria.
He also called for finding a solution based on talks and confidence-building among Yemeni groups to advance peace-related goals in Yemen.
