The festival was running on August 29 to September 15. The Portobello Film Festival is an independent international film festival based in London, which annually premiers over 700 new films, including features, shorts, documentaries, music films, and animation. Additionally, workshops and talks with top film directors are also featured.
The short movie was already displayed in Panorama section of Budapest Short Film Festival.
It displays life of Hana, a six-year old poor and motherless girl forced by her father to work as a peddler at a traffic light. She has a dream, but a tragic event sweeps away her hope.
The events taking place in the era we live in do not stem from choices made in parallel universes or an unreal world, but are the outcome of choices made by us. We each play our part, and are responsible for the current state we live in.
