
TABNAK, Aug, 31: “The Islamic Republic of Iran is enthusiastic to grow brotherly and friendly ties with the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council and its members,” said Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi in a phone call with Secretary General of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammad al-Budaiwi.
He further reiterated that relations between Iran and the PGCC must enter a new phase of mutual understanding and cooperation.
Mohammad al-Budaiwi, for his part, stressed the significance of the Islamic Republic of Iran in boosting regional peace and stability in the region, and reiterated that members of the council are eager to consult and interact with the Islamic Republic of Iran on major regional challenges.
