TABNAK, Aug, 19: The cancelation came due to lack of budget, infrastructure and other (Host City Contract) HCC requirements. The games were scheduled for November 21st to 30th by Bangkok and Ghonburi, TABNAK news agency reported.
The next round of games would be hosted by Saudi Arabia whose date will be shortly finalized.
The (Executive Committee) EB gave the organization committee till Monday (August 19) 5 pm Bangkok time to inform the OCA if they can meet with all the requirements f the Host City City Contract. However, Thailand’s failure to meet with the requirement will be resulted in automatic cancelation of the games.
