TABNAK, Aug, 19: It was the third phone conversation between the two top diplomats in less than two weeks after the Israeli assassination on 31 July of Hamas's Political Leader Ismail Haniyeh in the Iranian capital and the assassination of Fouad Shukur, a top military commander of Hezbollah Resistance in Beirut.
During the phone call, the Egyptian official said his country would not withhold any effort to end unprecedented humane pain in Palestine.
He also warned that the international community has been aware of necessity of ending war and reaching an agreement to swap prisoners between Israeli and Palestinian sides.
Badr Abdel Aty further stressed ending war which brings nothing but more threats to regional and global peace and security.
“Egyptian benefits make it necessary to prevent escalating tensions,” a statement released by Egyptian Foreign Ministry quoted Badr Abdel Aty as saying.
