«کره شمالی / North Korea» با نام رسمی «جمهوری دموکراتیک خلق کره / Democratic People's Republic of Korea ( DPRK )» در بخش شمالی شبه‌جزیره کره در شرق آسیا است. پایتخت و بزرگ‌ترین شهر آن پیونگ‌یانگ است. این کشور از جنوب با کره جنوبی از شمال با جمهوری خلق چین و در زاویه شمال شرقی مرز کوچکی با روسیه دارد. بنادر مهم کره شمالی چونگجین، هام هونگ و ونسان در سواحل دریای ژاپن و نامپو در سواحل خلیج کره هستند. مشهورترین ساختمان کره شمالی، هتل ریوگیونگ است. کره شمالی را از نمای نزدیک در قاب 4K می‌بینید.
