Telegraph - Sean Spicer suffered another slip-up in front of the cameras after getting the Canadian prime minister’s name wrong in a press conference.

The White House press secretary tripped over his words when he embarrassingly referred to Justin Trudeau as 'Joe'.

"Yesterday the president had an incredibly productive set of meetings and discussions with PM Joe Trudeau of Canada,” he said.

During Trudeau’s visit to the White House, he endured an awkward handshake with President Donald Trump and posed for a photo with his daughter Ivanka.

The US and Canada announced a joint task force to help women in the workplace, looking at issues such as childcare and maternity leave.

Trudeau added the task force was "about understanding that women in leadership positions is a very powerful leverage for success, for business, for communities and for our entire economy".

It’s not the first time Spicer has mixed up a world leader’s name after mistakenly referring to Australia's prime minister Malcolm Turnbull as ‘prime minister Trumble’.

Spicer's comments on the size of the crowd at Trump’s inauguration crowd also sparked a host of memes.
