Netanyahu plotting to drag Trump into new war with Iran

Speaking to Press TV, the source said the “absurd scenario” involving an Emirati aircraft bound for the occupied territories from the UAE and later landing in Saudi Arabia was carried out on Wednesday, three days after Netanyahu travelled to the United Arab Emirates accompanied by several senior Israeli military and intelligence officials.

The source said the plan was discussed and finalized during Netanyahu’s visit.

According to the source, the UAE was also tasked with playing a role in the Israeli regime’s regional projects, while multilateral talks were held with officials from several other Arab countries to devise a false-flag operation that could be attributed to Iran.

The stated objective, according to the source, was to create a pretext for Washington to become entangled in another confrontation with the Islamic Republic and trigger a new round of war against Iran.

The source further said that Netanyahu is deeply concerned that holding Knesset elections under current circumstances could prevent his coalition from securing a majority and forming a ruling coalition.

“In that case, after being removed from the premiership, he would have to spend the rest of his political life behind bars,” the source said.

The source further said the criminal prime minister of the Israeli regime hopes that, through the influence he wields over the White House and Trump personally, he can once again drag him into a full-scale war against the Islamic Republic.

The source said Netanyahu also seeks to continue using “America’s weapons, economy, and declining credibility” to repair his own “dire political situation.”

Against this backdrop, Iranian authorities have said they are closely monitoring US and Israeli regime’s movements and are preparing for the possibility of another hostile action.

“Preparations are in place for the possibility of another act of folly under the pretext of Netanyahu’s absurd, pre-planned aircraft hijacking scheme,” the source said.

The source warned that Iran was prepared to respond to any hostile action with “harsh and devastating blows” against the Israeli regime and the United States, saying those behind any false-flag operation “will regret their false-flag operation and fabricated game.”

False-flag plot comes after Netanyahu's UAE visit

The plot emerged only days after Netanyahu travelled to the UAE and held closed-door talks with Emirati President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

On Wednesday, the same day as the aircraft incident, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Mohsen Rezaei issued a warning over Netanyahu’s presence in the region.

In an Arabic-language message, Rezaei said that hosting US military bases had not brought security to the UAE and warned that hosting the “Butcher of Gaza” would likewise have no favorable consequences.

Rezaei urged Abu Dhabi to “learn from the last war, stop igniting wars,” while also calling on the UAE to abandon baseless claims concerning the Iranian islands of Abu Musa, Greater Tunb and Lesser Tunb.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry had already issued a warning before the Emirati aircraft incident, strongly condemning the “provocative presence” of the “child-killing and warmongering prime minister of the Zionist regime” in the region.

The ministry warned of the “extremely dangerous consequences” of the Israeli regime’s presence at a time when West Asia remains in one of its most fragile periods, citing the regime’s aggression against Iran as well as its continuing occupation and genocide in Palestine and Lebanon.

“All countries in the region must remain vigilant regarding the consequences and repercussions of such a presence, which threatens regional peace and collective security,” the Foreign Ministry said.

Iranian officials have repeatedly cautioned Persian Gulf states that cooperation with the Israeli regime, including allowing their territory to be used for hostile projects against the Islamic Republic, will carry serious consequences and will not be forgiven.
