In a message released on Thursday, General Abdollahi invited the public to participate in the funeral procession of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
He said in his message that the unjust martyrdom of the era’s unique figure, the great leader of the Islamic Ummah, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei (may God elevate his status), at the start of the imposed war and the criminal, terrorist aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime on Feb. 28, 2026, is a heartbreaking loss and a painful grief for the Islamic Ummah and the free people of the world.
He added that this pure blood will nonetheless water the sturdy tree of Iran’s dignity and independence, making it more solid than before.
The commander noted that the late Leader, through his reliance on God and trust in the faithful and revolutionary forces, elevated the Islamic Republic’s deterrent power to its peak.
He said the development of missile and drone power, strategic scientific advances, the consolidation of national security and the “we can” spirit are among the achievements the leader left behind.
Abdollahi said this authority is such that the enemies, despite possessing superior military and hybrid equipment and weaponry, always witnessed the heavy cost of aggression, like they did in the second and third imposed-wars and tasted the flavor of humiliation.
He added that this historic thought has written a brilliant chapter in Islamic history by strengthening the resistance front and standing against arrogance.
Addressing the public directly, General Abdollahi said the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters and the Armed Forces General Staff, while bowing to the lofty status of the martyred mojahed Leader Khamenei invite people from all walks of life, especially the young generation who will build the country’s future, to take part with fervent, epic and unparalleled presence in the farewell, funeral and burial ceremonies for him and his family’s martyred members.
Abdollahi urged them to demonstrate a lasting manifestation of sacred unity and once again register their love and devotion to the “velayat” in history.
He stated that the greatest tribute to the unique gem and the martyred Leader is to continue his luminous path, which prioritizes safeguarding the achievements of the Revolution, strengthening defensive power, preserving unity and national interests, accelerating scientific progress, achieving justice, and moving toward a new Islamic civilization.
General Abdollahi reiterated the warning to Iran’s enemies, particularly the United States, the Zionist regime, and their regional and extra-regional allies, to avoid any miscalculations.
He stressed that they should consider the harsh and regretful responses of the Iranian nation’s armed forces to any threat or aggression on Iranian soil.
He concluded by saying that, together with all commanders and fighters of the country’s Armed Forces, he renews his pledge to the great imam, the martyred Leader of the Revolution and the honorable martyrs of the defense of the homeland, and declares full readiness to safeguard the independence, security and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He said this pledge also affirms absolute obedience to the guidance of the worthy successor to the martyred Leader, Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ayatollah Imam Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei.
