
The IRGC Navy, in its statement number 58 in response to the passage of military ships through the Strait of Hormuz, declared, “Any attempt by military vessels to pass through the Strait of Hormuz will face a hard confrontation.”
The statement added, “The IRGC Navy has full authority and intelligently manages the Strait of Hormuz, and only civilian vessels will be permitted to pass under special regulations.”
“Reports published regarding the passage of American ships through the strait are denied, and any attempt by military vessels to pass will be met with complete decisiveness and hard confrontation,” it concluded
