Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said Tehran has presented a proposal during the current round of indirect negotiations centered on safeguarding its nuclear rights and securing effective sanctions relief.
Baghaei stated that discussions remain confined to nuclear-related issues, stressing that Iran’s positions on sanctions removal and the protection of its nuclear rights are clear and consistent.
The proposals have been conveyed through Oman in its mediating role, according to Baghaei.
He also confirmed that the third round began Wednesday night with a meeting between Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and his Omani counterpart, adding that the Director General of the IAEA may join the discussions.
