Iran FM discuss ties, regional, international issues with Egyptian counterpart
TABNAK, Jan. 22 - Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty held a telephone conversation Wednesday night to discuss bilateral relations and key regional and international developments.

In the call, the two top diplomats exchanged views on ways to strengthen ties between Iran and Egypt.
Abdelatty expressed regret over the prevention of Iran’s foreign minister from participating in the recent Davos meeting.
He referred to the issues raised during the World Economic Forum in Davos while conveying his disappointment regarding the exclusion.
Both sides stressed the importance of continuing consultations.
They emphasized the need to enhance bilateral relations and coordinate positions on regional and international matters.
They agreed that sustained diplomacy would contribute to maintaining stability and security across the region.
