At least 45 senior army officers from different African countries and the Czech Republic on Friday completed a one-year senior command and staff course at a Rwandan military college.
The officers from Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Czech Republic, the sixth batch of graduates of the program, were trained at Rwanda Defence Force Senior Command and Staff College in the Musanze district in northern Rwanda.
The training focused on analytical planning and communication skills to deal with complex contemporary security environments, Rwandan Minister of Defense James Kabarebe said at the graduation ceremony.
