In a statement on Thursday, the Russian Foreign Ministry lauded last week’s six-party talks on the Iranian nuclear problem in Istanbul.
The gathering saw the sides’ readiness to collaborate, the statement said, calling for more steps in this direction in the future.
Moscow wants Iran to stick to a UN Security Council resolution, which specifically stipulates the Islamic Republic shedding more light on what Tehran calls a purely peaceful nuclear program.
